Hi my name is Green Wang. I’m from China. My husband came to the U.S. in 2016. A year later, he became a Christian. In 2018, I came to the U.S. to join my husband and I found that he has changed a lot. He is more patient, gentle, and calm. He is more loving and considerate toward us and others. His change has made me wanting to explore God, so I begun to attend a Chinese Church in Katy. Later that year, I met Sarah when I signed up for her ESL class. She invited me to her Chinese worship service. Gradually I found myself being drawn to the words of God. She then arranged a FriendSpeak teacher (Cindy Allred) to help me improve my English by reading bible stories. I also attended other Bible reading classes. All my teachers are very nice and patient reading Bible stories with me every week. God slowly sowed His seed in my heart for these past 3 years. I look forward to the seed to take root and grow. I desire to become a Christian, to follow Jesus, and to know Him more. The Bible says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Today I knock and ask Jesus to come into my life. I desire to live in God’s love and grace, to discover the beautiful things He created, and to share the good news with others.
